Steel Service Center provides information about apprenticeships on September 19 with activities, VR simulations and factory tours.
Boenen, August 29, 2024 - For many young people, their professional future could be decided on this day. At the first Open Training Day on Thursday, September 19, 3-6 p.m., the doors of the Becker Group at its headquarters in Boenen will open for the first time to pupils in their final year and students from the region, with a view to perhaps becoming part of the team as a new apprentice next year.

On this day, the company offers young people the chance to gain exciting insights into the Becker apprenticeships and immerse themselves in the multi-metal world. The special feature: current Becker trainees are the main protagonists of the event on this day and are available on site for direct discussions and are happy to share their personal experiences.
The day is not just an event for pupils and students - their parents and families are also cordially invited and can find out more about the various training occupations at individual information stations and find out all about “Training at Becker” and the latest technologies and services on the site.
Interactive activities are a real highlight, such as a VR goggle system that will allow future crane operators to try out maneuvering with heavy steel loads - including a skills course, of course in real time and in a realistic industrial environment. Factory tours and a photobooth activity round off the day's activities.
