Expansion of the Lear partnership - Lear & Becker jointly focus on sustainability

Bönen. Becker Stahl-Service, a subsidiary of Klöckner & Co, one of the largest producer-independent distributors of steel and metal products, and Lear Corporation, a global automotive technology leader in Seating and E-Systems, have decided to strengthen their existing partnership. As a first step, both companies have signed a letter of intent with the aim to facilitate subsequent framework contracts for the supply with Nexigen® CO2-reduced steel solutions.

Leading the way towards a sustainable steel industry, with its umbrella brand Nexigen®, Klöckner & Co offers transparent, CO2-reduced solutions in the area of materials, services and logistics that help customers establish sustainable value chains. Klöckner & Co’s subsidiary Becker and Lear Corporation are committed to helping reduce CO2 emissions. At the same time, the partners aim to develop new opportunities to build sustainable value and supply chains.
