SMART LED LIGHTING SYSTEM TO SAVE RESOURCES

Becker Stahl-Service has already been environmentally certified for several years. This gives us the advantage of already knowing in detail where we emit what amount of CO2. Analysis of the data has shown that our electricity consumption is responsible for the largest part of our CO2 emissions. In order to reduce this, a new lighting concept was developed for the production halls and warehouses.
The switch to smart LED lighting offers numerous advantages compared to the previous installation. LED lamps are characterized by a longer service life and consume significantly less energy than conventional lamps. This effect is enhanced by the intelligent light management system used here, which regulates the illuminance according to the amount of daylight. This way, a constant illuminance at the workplace can be ensured. Furthermore, the system makes it possible to illuminate different work areas to different degrees in order to meet our highest demands on the safety of our employees.
The new LED lighting system has already been installed in three halls and the employees' feedback is consistently positive. In the coming months, the modern lighting concept will therefore be gradually extended to the other production halls and warehouses.
